I am going to attempt to get back to blogging on a regular basis! I will start with updating our photos! The ones one here show all of our ages!
I think that my kids would like to help me with this so I'm going to have them post along with me! Hopefully this will be very fun and everyone will love it:-)
Maybe I could even get Eric to blog as well! Only time will tell!

Last time I was here Allison flooded my car!!!
I was supposed to publish this post before we moved but its better late than never right!!!
So if you are confused by the title of this blog, I will explain!!! In June of 2001, a little over 10 years ago, Eric and I were on our way to visit family in Houston for the weekend!! We were very watchful of the weather because there was a Tropical Storm in the Gulf of Mexico! Before leaving for our trip, we took one last look at the weather and it looked like Allison was going to head north and dissipate before we were to arrive in Houston!!! So off we went!!! Once we got to the stretch of interstate 10 past Beaumont (where there is 3 lanes each way and absolutely nothing in site), I noticed that it was much darker ahead of us. Very black and eerie looking!!!! Before we could make it to the Beltway, the cars on the interstate came to a stop!!! We exited the interstate and took shelter in a store called Garden Ridge Pottery!! We spent our entire night there because not only did Allison head north like it was supposed to but it stalled for most of the night and then headed SOUTH and dumped even more rain on the exact area that we were in!!! We spent all night in that Garden Ridge Pottery with water slowly rising until it got up to our thighs! We were not there alone...there were plenty of people there!! One man in particular we remember had fallen asleep on a display of pillows. He must have been having a dream because his hand reached out like he was grabbing something!! It is now an ongoing joke between me and Eric!!! We even looted (is that a word?). Since we were wet, we each grabbed a beach towel and the towel ended up keeping us nice and warm.

Houston...We have a crawler!!!!
For the past few weeks, Zoey has been doing a crawl that would have give a marine a run for his money. She would occasionally get on all fours and rock back and forth but then just plop down flat!!! Tonight, she crawled!!! I even had to call Papa into the room to see it so he didn't miss it!!!!
On another note, Zoey loves when it is time to pick up Abby and Ryan. Unfortunately, afternoon carpool is smack in the middle of her naptime. Sometimes she sleeps until they get in the car and sometimes she is just too excited and talks all the way to school and then she talks to them all the way home!!!

Birth Mark
When Zoey was around 4 weeks old, she was having some tummy time and I noticed for the first time that she has a rather large birth mark on her calf. To me, it looks like she is always wearing a band-aid!! Abby told me today that "God must really love Zoey because her birth mark is so big!!!!" I love my children!!!

Seven Weeks with Zoey!!
After 7 wonderful weeks with Zoey, her personality is really coming out!!! She loves to snuggle, she loves to be talked to, smiled at, and she is a clock!! I do not like to put her down!!! She fits so comfortably in my arms!!! She wakes up at the same time everyday, she eats at the same time everyday, and she plays at the same time everyday!!!
I love my sweet Zoey girl!!! Her brother and sister and Papa love her too!!
